How much commission does a real estate agent charge in Dubai?
Standard agency commission is 2% of the purchase price plus 5% VAT (about 2.1% effectively), and unlike many countries it is customarily the buyer who pays it on a resale. On off-plan and direct-from-developer purchases the developer covers our fee, so you pay us nothing. Always confirm the commission in writing before signing.
