How do I know if my real estate agent is legit?

Only work with a RERA-registered broker. Ask for their RERA broker card and Broker Registration Number (BRN), then verify it free on the Dubai REST app or the DLD website - it shows the agent's name, photo, brokerage and licence status. If they dodge sharing a BRN, treat it as a red flag and walk away.
