How do I actually get my money back from a bounced cheque?

A dishonoured cheque is now an 'executive instrument', so you can go straight to the Execution Court with the original cheque and the bank's return memo - no police report or full trial. The bank must release any available partial balance. The court can freeze assets and impose a travel ban until the debt and costs are settled.
