How do I legally evict a tenant who refuses to pay?
You cannot evict directly. After the unpaid 30-day notice, file a case at the Rental Dispute Centre (Ejari required), attaching the contract, notice and payment history. If the judgment favours you, the Execution Department enforces the eviction and recovers arrears — a straightforward non-payment case typically runs three to four months.
