What's the difference between freehold and leasehold property in Dubai?
Freehold means you own the property and the land it sits on outright and in perpetuity, so you can live in it, rent it, mortgage it, resell it, or leave it to heirs. Leasehold grants only the right to use a property for a fixed term, up to 99 years; the land reverts to the freeholder when the lease ends.
