What is a completion (handover) notice and how long do I have to respond?

After Dubai Municipality issues the Building Completion Certificate, the developer sends a formal completion or handover notice. From that notice you typically have 14-30 days (check your SPA) to respond, settle the final installment, snag the unit and take keys. Missing the window can trigger penalties, so book your handover appointment promptly.
