How do I set up DEWA (electricity and water) as a new tenant?

After your Ejari is issued, apply on the DEWA app or website with your Emirates ID, Ejari number and DEWA premises number. You pay a refundable deposit - AED 2,000 for an apartment or AED 4,000 for a villa - plus a small activation fee of around AED 110. Supply is usually connected within about 24 hours.
