Units must be fully furnished and equipped to DET standards: complete furniture, a working kitchen and appliances, air-conditioning, hot water, Wi-Fi, and fresh linen and towels (typically two sets per bed). Safety gear is mandatory: smoke detectors, a valid kitchen fire extinguisher, first-aid kit and clear escape info. A smart or keyless lock is generally required, and inspectors verify all of it.
