What is the difference between Standard and Deluxe holiday-home classification?
At permit stage you self-classify the unit and DET verifies it on inspection. Standard covers clean, functional furnishing and basic amenities, while Deluxe and Premium require higher-end finishes and amenities. Classification sets your Tourism Dirham rate — AED 10 per room per night for Standard versus AED 15 for Deluxe — and you must maintain the declared standard or risk penalties.
