What is the developer's defect liability period after handover?

New Dubai properties carry a Defect Liability Period (DLP), typically 12 months from the handover date. During this period the developer must repair construction, finishing and mechanical defects at no cost to you. Report faults in writing as they appear so they are logged and fixed before the warranty expires.
