Can spouses or co-owners combine their property shares to reach a visa threshold?

No longer, as of 14 July 2026. Spouses and co-owners can no longer combine their separate shares to reach a visa threshold; each applicant must individually hold the required value (AED 2M Golden, AED 1M retirement, AED 400,000 joint two-year). A couple with AED 2.4M in a 50/50 title can't merge to AED 2M for a Golden Visa.
