What's the difference between master community fees and building service charges?

In large master-planned communities you often pay two layers. The master-community charge goes to the master developer for shared district infrastructure: roads, parks, security and community landscaping. The building-level service charge goes to your tower's management for lifts, lobbies, the building pool and gym, and its own upkeep. Both appear on your account and both are RERA-regulated.
